How will I know which Garage Door Springs to order?
The first thing you need to to know is the make of the garage door, ie, Henderson, Garador!
How will I know the make of my Garage Door?
Firstly look on the garage door lock / handle
Is there any manufacturers lables on the back of the door?
Have you got a manufacturers handbook?

The following information is needed when ordering springs:
The size of the garage door, Width x Height
Length of the spring over the coils
How many coils make up the spring
Diameter of the spring and wire (if possible)
Any colour to the spring, ie: Grey, Yellow, Blue
What the door is made of, ie: metal, wood or GRP
Pattern / Style of the door, ie: Horizontal, Vertical, Victorian etc
Important Safety Precautions!
ALWAYS ADJUST RETRACTABLE GARAGE DOOR SPRINGS
WHILST THE DOOR IS IN THE OPEN POSITION!
(Garage doors that have horizontal tracks that go back into the garage)
Always use a prop to secure the door in the open position before removing springs.
We fully recommend Garage Door Springs are always replaced in pairs!
This makes sure that your garage door operates correctly.
