Description:
2 x Garador DR and RM Springs to fit 9'0" - 16'0" wide doors (double doors)
DR and RM Springs have part numbers that start with PN181, PN182 and PN183.
(Part numbers can be found on the spring loop or on older springs on a metal tag attached to the loop.)
Introduced in 1987 door gear fitted on the back of a goalpost type 70mm wide timber frame, all spares are still available. The locking system changed to a high security locking in November 1993.
The springs are the 900 series ie, S108-901 and are 23.5" / 597mm long.
The DR and RM Garage Doors are easily recognised their
long horizontal tracks are suspended and supported from the ceiling.

The springs have grey plastic protective covers fitted.
Double garage doors have 2 springs on each side, single doors have just 1 spring on each side.

How to select the correct spring for your garage door
First identify your door style, ie, Horizon, Georgian, Chevron, etc (use pictures below to help)

Select your garage door size, match the door size with the door style
Make a note of the spring code
Select the spring code from the drop down box at the top of the page
Example: door size: 9'4" x 6'6" / Door Style: Georgian = S108-903

THAT BOTH SIDES ARE REPLACED AT THE SAME TIME,
THIS ENSURES THE DOOR IS BALANCED CORRECTLY.
IT ALSO SAVES TIME AND MONEY ON REPLACING
THE OPPOSITE SIDE A FEW WEEKS LATER!
