Description:

Garador Garage Door DC and CM Springs to fit 9'0" - 16'0" wide doors (double doors)

DC and DC Springs have part numbers that start with PN191, PN192 and PN193.
(Part numbers can be found on the spring loop or on older springs on a metal tag attached to the loop.)
Fitted from 1987 onwards with stub horizontal tracks and springs down the side connecting directly onto the link arms and anchor brackets.

Locking system changed from cables to locking bars in 1993.

The springs are the 700 series ie, S108-702 and are 27" / 685mm long excluding spring eyes

Purpose made doors over 7'0" / 2135 high have even numbers ie, S108-702 and are 31" / 788mm long

The DC and CM Garage Doors are easily recognised
their short horizontal tracks are supported from the frame of the garage door.
(The tracks are not supported from the ceiling)

The springs have grey plastic protective covers when fitted.

Double garage doors have 2 springs on each side, single doors have just 1 spring on each side.

Springs are approximately 27" long over the coils

How to select the correct spring for your garage door

First identify your door style, ie, Horizon, Georgian, Chevron, etc (use pictures below to help)

Select your garage door size, match the door size with the door style

Make a note of the spring code

Select the spring code from the drop down box at the top of the page

Example: door size: 12'0" x 6'6" / Door Style: Horizon = S108-721

IT IS RECOMMENDED WHEN CHANGING SPRINGS,
THAT BOTH SIDES ARE REPLACED AT THE SAME TIME,
THIS ENSURES THE DOOR IS BALANCED CORRECTLY.
IT ALSO SAVES TIME AND MONEY ON REPLACING THE
OPPOSITE SIDE A FEW WEEKS LATER!

These springs are delivered by courier service.
