The springs have grey plastic protective covers fitted

Springs are approximately 24" long over the coils

How to select the correct spring for your garage door:

Identify your door style, ie, Horizon, Georgian, Parade from the pictures below.

Click on the Garador Spring Chart G at bottom of page

Select your garage door size, match the door size with the door style

Make a note of the spring code

Select the spring code from the drop down box above

Example: door size; 7'0" x 6'6" / Door Style; Carlton = S108-901

The original Mk3R springs are now obsolete.
R type springs are used instead.
The substitute springs are a little longer than the originals and so to allow for this you should rotate the bottom spring bracket by 180 degrees and then re-fix it.
